Gaganyaan - Indias giant leap

Gaganyaan 

The Gaganyaan programme is an indigenous mission that would take Indian astronauts to space. ISRO's GSLV MK3, the three staged heavy lift launch vehicle will be used to launch gaganyaan. The spacecraft is expected to be placed in a low earth orbit of 300-400 km. The mission cost is estimated at less than Rs 10,000 crore. Gaganyaan is a crewed orbital spacecraft which is expected to carry three people into space for 7 days. The mission will make India the fourth nation in the world to launch a human spaceflight mission behind USSR, USA and China.

Vyommitra 

On 22 Jan 2020 , ISRO announced Vyommitra, a humanoid robot which is expected to go on two uncrewed space flights. It can detect and give warnings if environmental changes within the cabin get uncomfortable to the astronauts.
